Guo Jie is Vice President, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor at South China Normal University. He serves as Vice President of the Chinese Poetry Association, the Chinese Qu Yuan Society, the Guangdong Chinese Literature Association, and the Guangzhou Overseas Returned Scholars Association. He is a provincial-level academic leader recognized under Guangdong's "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Program." His books include Ancient Thought and the World of Poetry, A New Study of Qu Yuan, A Historical Study of Pre-Qin Poetry, and A Study of the Epic Tradition of the Zhou People. He is also chief editor of the ten-volume A Cultural History of Chinese Literature.

郭杰，华南师范大学副校长，教授，博士生导师，兼任中国诗经学会副会长，中国屈原学会副会长，广东中国文学学会副会长，广州欧美同学会副会长。被评为广东省高校"千百十工程"省级学术带头人。著有《古代思想与诗的世界》、《屈原新论》、《先秦诗歌史论》、《周族史诗研究》等，主编《中国文学史话》（十卷本）。
