A Hop, a Skip & a Whoops!

Big bounces. Big plans. One very confident rooster.

Ray-Ray is certain he will be the star of his class trip to the inflatable park. The walls look soft, the obstacle course looks easy, and his magnificent hair is ready for the spotlight. All he needs to do is beat Schultz to the finish.

But an unexpected collision brings the race to a sudden stop. With help from Professor B. Ready, a caring alligator professor, and Mrs. Rabbinook, a warmhearted fox teacher, Ray-Ray discovers that looking out for his friends matters more than showing off.

Filled with colorful animal characters, playful humor, and a few wobbly surprises, A Hop, a Skip & a Whoops! invites children to notice their surroundings, ask questions, and speak up when something does not seem right. Along the way, they discover that something can look ready for play even when it is time to wait.

Part of Professor B. Ready's Safety School, this illustrated story for children ages 4-8 includes a safety conversation guide for parents and teachers to keep the discussion going after the adventure ends.
