The short story genre in general and the Kiswahili Short Story in particular has from the Twentieth Century been rising in stature to claim its rightful place in Kiswahili Literature. This development is evidenced by a significant rise in the number of short story anthologies produced by publishing houses. This book critically analyzes Swahili short stories both stylistically and thematically. The author delves in to diverse issues of style and analyzes various thematic concerns explored by many different authors.
