When 8 year old Edward 'Teddy' Jillian moved from his busy home in the heart of Manchester, to the quiet countryside of Cornwall, he had no idea of the journey that awaited him. One cold, frosty morning whilst looking out of his bedroom window he thought he saw something moving in the grass. What could it be? He rushed downstairs and out into the bitter air, only to find a cold, wet and half frozen bird slumped in the grass and clinging on to life with all its might. Bending down and scooping the helpless creature up in his arms, he rushed inside.
"It's an African Grey Parrot," his mother explained." We will need to nurse it back to health."
Little did Teddy know; this was just the beginning of a journey that would change his life forever. Filled with love and adventure, A Touch Of Frost is a heart-warming story about one boys sincere dedication and his incredible bond with a bird that nobody seemed to want.
