Alaskan Angels

.

When a snow day arrives in Alaska, Gerald can't wait to get outside and play. Bundled from head to toe in so many winter clothes he can barely bend, he charges into the snow with his best friend, Kevin, close behind.

Kevin isn't quite as sure about this freezing white stuff at first.

But snowballs are fun. Snow forts are interesting. Snowmen are worth investigating.

Then Gerald falls backward into the snow and makes something Kevin has never seen before:

a snow angel.

Kevin wants one of his own.

He flops. He wiggles. He kicks. He rolls. He tries again and again-but every attempt comes out looking like anything but an angel.

Luckily, Gerald knows exactly what his best friend is trying to do.

Together, a six-year-old boy and one determined English Setter discover that the best winter memories aren't about getting everything perfect-they're about learning, laughing, and sharing the moment with someone you love.

Alaskan Angels is a warm, rhyming picture book filled with snowy adventures, playful humor, friendship, Christmas coziness, and one very determined dog.
