Ashes of the Firstborn

Before Dracula became a legend, there were powers far older-and far more dangerous.

Malcolm Alkebulan is no ordinary vampire. Ancient, immensely powerful, and feared by those who understand what he truly is, Malcolm has earned a terrifying designation: Extinction Level Event.

After centuries in the shadows, Malcolm returns to Gainesville, Florida, haunted by a betrayal that destroyed the life he once cherished. But the world he reenters is no longer the one he remembers. Ancient enemies are stirring, dangerous alliances are forming, and a supernatural force known as the Heart of Ereshkigal threatens to unleash unimaginable consequences.

As old rivalries ignite and the boundaries between loyalty and betrayal begin to fracture, Malcolm must confront enemies who know his past-and powers that may challenge even his extraordinary existence.

For a being capable of bringing the world to its knees, the greatest battle may not be against another monster. It may be against the darkness within himself.

Love. Betrayal. Vengeance. Immortality.

Ashes of the Firstborn launches a dark urban fantasy series where ancient vampire legends collide with the modern world, and the struggle between good and evil carries a devastating price.

Some legends are born in darkness. Others are born before it.
