This volume contains new trends of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) for the 21st Century. It consists of 24 papers presented at a symposium honoring Prof. Nobuyuki Satofuka on the occasion of his 60th birthday, Kyoto, July 15-17, 2000. The contributing authors are from Japan as well as from the international community in Asia, Europe and North America.
