Faelithiel Talarë

Aeliryn Lúvaenyariel has spent her life carrying the memory of a home that no longer exists.

Now she has found another.

Fallcrest rises in white stone above the sea, a new home for the Mírthalain and a place where Aeliryn hopes the lessons of Ylindras might finally be remembered. Under Lady Ileosa, new roads are being built, old divisions are being questioned, and people who once stood apart are beginning to find their way towards one another.

Then Austrmúnt falls.

The Northlanders are driven south by an enemy they do not understand. The Sûlvarran emerge from beneath the mountains with warnings of their own. Strange signs appear along the roads and in the forests, while something ancient is moving in places where no one thought it could be.

As fear spreads, Aeliryn must travel between peoples who have every reason to distrust one another and convince them that survival cannot belong to one people alone.

For the old world is changing.

And if Aeliryn has learned anything from the ruins of Ylindras, it is that no wall is strong enough when those behind it stand alone.

This time, they will have to stand together.
