Fallen Nature

As a result of their actions, Adam and Eve are cast out of the Master's Garden, throwing them into a wilderness journey of refinement. No longer do they get to walk and talk with the Master Gardener daily. No longer do they experience His audible voice and pervasive presence. While Adam struggles to lead Eve in righteousness, his new nature wars against the success of it. While Eve struggles with debilitating regret, her new nature constantly taunts her soul with shame, stunting her ability to cope with her consequences. Although they do have one bright spot in their life to look forward to, being fruitful and multiplying, they both feel very ill-equipped to be parents. Knowing that they cannot return to the most beautiful and set-apart place in all the Earth, they must trek forward and forge on. Facing many trials along their journey, Adam and Eve both fumble around in a shadow of what once was. Will their hearts ever recover? Will they ever be able to experience true joy again? Fallen Nature, a narrative fiction by author Brandi Danielle, can be read as a stand-alone or as a sequel to The Set-Apart Place.
