Finding My Feet is Aaliyah Mpesi's honest account of growing up, losing direction and learning what it truly meant for her to know God for herself.

Beginning with a life-changing spiritual experience at fourteen, Aaliyah takes readers through the reality of her teenage and young-adult years: faith and doubt, depression, rebellion, family relationships, friendship, grief, forgiveness, identity, money, purpose and the consequences of the choices we make.

This is not the story of someone who always got it right.

It is the story of falling, questioning, wandering, learning, returning and discovering that knowing about God is very different from developing a relationship with Him.

Through personal stories, biblical truth and lessons learnt along the way, Aaliyah speaks openly to young people who may feel lost, misunderstood, behind in life or unsure of where they belong. She explores the people and experiences that shaped her, the mistakes that taught her wisdom and the faith that continued to draw her home.

Finding My Feet does not ask young people to pretend that growing up is easy. It encourages them to face truth, examine their choices, seek wisdom and discover God for themselves.
