Main topics are investigations to sequence stratigraphy, 3D-quantitative restoration and balanced structural sections, using the LOCACE equipment. Additional studies deal with a Monte Carlo method for generating models of porosity and permeability, with facies characterization using wireline logs or with petrographic applications of image analysis. As further reading this volume is of significant interest for researchers in oil and gas industries but also for scientists at universities.
