A murder mystery set in the romantic English country side of a hundred and fifty years ago. Driven from his inheritance and rejected by his sweetheart, Rob takes refuge in an old house. He arrives to find a corpse on the floor. From then on women are found hung all round the district. Suspects are elusive.
