The 1980's in Guatemala were characterized by civil strife, guerrilla uprisings and military repression. It was also a time of teenage angst for the protagonists of a love story in this upheaval. Julia's boyfriend was assassinated, and no one seems to know why or by whom. The crime remains a mystery until, many years later, the brother of the slain boyfriend comes back to solve it and give some peace of mind to the victims of the crime.
