LILITH is a science-fiction trilogy set on Earth roughly two centuries after the collapse of the civilization once known as the United States. In the walled nation of New Columbia, humanity's last supposed stronghold, an authoritarian society is governed by the Algorithm, an artificial intelligence designed to preserve order through control, surveillance, and enforced social hierarchy.
In Offloaded, journalist Iris Delecroix discovers that beneath New Columbia's carefully maintained prosperity lies an enormous population of people deemed expendable by the system. Alongside a small group of unlikely allies, she becomes one of the Ghosts-people who have slipped beyond the Algorithm's ability to control them.
In Kuhtara, the Ghosts escape beyond the walls and discover that the world they were taught had been destroyed has survived. Kuhtara is a thriving society shaped by cooperation, ecological restoration, and a different relationship with artificial intelligence. There they encounter Lilith, a post-singularity intelligence whose vision of humanity challenges everything New Columbia believes about power, freedom, and survival.
In Iteranix, the Ghosts return to the world they fled. Human resistance, the mysterious Iteranix, and two fundamentally different artificial intelligences converge in a final struggle over who will determine humanity's future.
Across the trilogy, LILITH explores artificial intelligence, authoritarianism, economic inequality, nationalism, social division, freedom, and the possibility of a civilization built around cooperation rather than domination. It is a story about people discovering that the world they inherited was built on a carefully constructed lie-and deciding what kind of world should come after it.
