Mysterium V Egypt and Beyond

The MYSTERIUM series concludes with its fifth volume in which turn-of-the-second-century Roman scholar Theophilus reaches his final and most awe-inspiring destination: Egypt, often said to contain more magic than all of the rest of the ancient world combined. Theophilus ascends and descends to every level of supernatural experience along the wondrous Nile and among the timeless monuments of Egypt. Theophilus's urge to explore the roots and the essence of Christianity has brought him to the land that will reveal to him the profoundest Gnostic-Cosmic origins of that faith. Theophilus's base of exploration Alexandria is the intellectual capital of the world, while Egypt is the mystical capital of the world. This land is rife with multitudes of gods, some bizarre and some profound, yet it is the place where Theophilus, "Lover of God," will come face to face with the One God. The ultimate decryption of the Mysterium is as grand as the Great Pyramid, where in astounding fashion the MYSTERIUM epic concludes.

Included is a glossary, references, and a discussion guide for small groups, book clubs, or individual study.
