Our Classroom, One World

Every child has a story. Every culture deserves to be celebrated.

On her first day at a new school in a new country, Sara feels nervous and wonders whether she will fit in. Everything seems unfamiliar until a welcoming teacher and friendly classmates help her discover something wonderful: every student brings a unique story into the classroom.

When their teacher introduces a special cultural project, Sara and her classmates embark on a colorful journey of discovery. From Palestine to Mexico, Cuba, Egypt, Turkey, and the Dominican Republic, the children share family traditions, languages, foods, and treasured memories.

With the support of their families, teacher, and principal, the students discover that their differences make their classroom stronger and that kindness, respect, and friendship connect them all.

Our Classroom, One World is a heartwarming, beautifully illustrated children's picture book that celebrates cultural identity, diversity, belonging, and the importance of being proud of who you are.
