This book provides insight to some of the modern techniques designed for the execution of various projects. In this book, Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT), and the Critical Path Method (CPM) which have been designed to plan, coordinate, and control the performance of activities that comprise complex projects are emphasized. When combined with applications of probability theory, PERT may be used to predict the duration of activities, and forecast the completion date of a project.
