Picking Up the Pieces

Brody Murphy feels as if he's lost everything when his best friend and police partner, Paul, dies in the line of duty. Partners on the force for years, Paul Donovan was all Brody had. With his anchor suddenly gone, Brody finds himself adrift. Wanting to repay Paul for his friendship, Brody devotes what's left of his heart to help Paul's widow and kids recover from their loss.

A senior in college, Cooper Donovan's life is turned upside down when the unthinkable happens. The death of his father sends his family into a tailspin, prompting Cooper's return home to help his mother with his little sisters. With so much left unsaid between him and his father, guilt and regret plague him, but he's determined to become a man his dad would have been proud of.

Cooper arrives home and finds his father's best friend, Brody, there helping to pick up the pieces. Soon, the two of them forge a connection that leaves Brody conflicted, Cooper determined and both men growing even closer in their shared grief. When tensions rise between the unlikely pair, neither can deny what's happening between them.

As Brody and Cooper learn to heal through their growing love for each other, they try to pick up the pieces of their previous lives. But will they be able to fit those pieces together and make a new future as a couple or will doubts and fears tear them apart?
