This book justifies the performances of the MLI which is better than conventional inverter in terms of the improvement in voltage THD and output fundamental components. Analysis and comparison of the MLI topologies based on modulation schemes allow to evaluate the effectiveness of the system performance are the contributions brought by this work. The various carriers based different modified SVPWM strategies for three phase seven-level NPCMLI and CHBMLI topologies fed induction motor load are implemented. The experimental investigations on these modulation techniques are performed on field programmable gate array for the available prototype of three phase seven-level NPCMLI and CHBMLI. The simulation has been carried out to three phase seven-level NPCMLI and CHBMLI. The THD is evaluated for various PWM schemes. A novel down factor based SVPWM technique is presented in this book for three phase seven-level NPCMLI and CHB MLI and implemented for IM load. This book aims to extend the knowledge about the performance of various carrier based different modified SVPWM strategies which helps to improve the inverter performance.
