What Makes Level B1.2 Different?

B1.1 helped you express opinions, conditions, intentions, and casual speech. B1.2 moves into the Korean of community: explaining why, describing people and places, reporting what you heard, making suggestions, and showing gratitude with respect.

Giving, Receiving & Respect

Korean does not divide "giving" mainly by direction. Instead, it uses respect. You will see how 주다, 드리다, and 주시다 show relationships, gratitude, and honorific awareness.
