Remembering What Matters Most invites parents to embrace uncertainty, question easy answers, and be wary of quick fixes; opting instead for a long-term perspective that spans the lifetime of their child while developing the foresight to decide whether a machine or a parent will be in charge of a human life.

Susan McNamara, M.A., CHHC moved out to the woods of Western Massachusetts with her husband and two children with the aim of living closer to the land and closer to what it is that human beings actually need to thrive. For more than a quarter of a century she has been focused on living according to what matters most to her.
