Sheffield Wednesday On This Day chronicles every facet of the club's long and rich history, from their formation back in 1867 to present-day attempts to reclaim a Premiership place. Packed with fascinating facts, figures and trivia this book will delight all those fans who love their club: Sheffield Wednesday. Written in a unique diary format, the book starts on the first day of the year and follows the club's ups and downs on every subsequent day, all the way through to New Year's Eve. Along the way On This Day covers all the major matches in the Owls' history and details all the major players - and some not so famous - that have helped shape the club we know today. The book also focuses on the rather off-beat stories as well.
