THE COSMIC GENESIS

What if the story of the Universe is also the story of how it came to understand itself?

From the first moments of cosmic expansion to the emergence of stars, planets, life and intelligence, The Cosmic Genesis explores one of humanity's most profound questions: how did a Universe made of matter give rise to beings capable of observing, questioning and understanding it?

Across nine parts and forty-eight chapters, this ambitious journey brings together cosmology, biology, evolution, neuroscience, philosophy and artificial intelligence. It follows the extraordinary transformation of matter: from the early Universe and the formation of the elements to living organisms, conscious minds and the technologies that may shape the next chapter of intelligence.

But this is more than a history of cosmic evolution. It is an investigation into the nature of consciousness itself.

What does it mean to experience being alive? Where does the self come from? Is consciousness an emergent property of biological systems, or might it be possible in artificial intelligence? Could machines one day possess genuine experience - and if so, what responsibilities would humanity have towards them?

The book also confronts the questions that touch every human life: death, identity, continuity, the possibility of what comes after, and the search for meaning in a Universe that offers no guaranteed answers.

Rather than confusing scientific discoveries with philosophical interpretations or speculation, the book carefully distinguishes what is established, what remains debated and what is still unknown. It explores different intellectual and spiritual traditions without demanding adherence to any particular belief.

In its final movement, this cosmic perspective becomes an invitation to rethink our responsibilities: towards the living planet, future generations, other forms of intelligence and the possibility of a shared ethical future.

A journey from the birth of the Universe to the horizon of consciousness.

For readers fascinated by the mysteries of existence, the origins of life, the human mind, artificial intelligence and the future of our place in the cosmos, The Cosmic Genesis offers an invitation to look at reality - and ourselves - from an entirely wider perspective.

The Universe may not have a purpose we can prove. But within it, something remarkable has happened: the cosmos has produced beings capable of asking what it all means.
