إن للاغتراب قدرة عجيبة على تحريك قرائح الشعراء، وطاقة فنية تزخر بعناصر الجمال والقوة. بل ربما كان القائل:(ليس الجمال سوى إبراز لاغتراب الإنسان وقهر للعنصر المتشئ فيه) على حق، ذلك أن الجمال (يتولد من القدرة على تصوير المأساة الناتجة عن تحول الإنسان إلى شيء وتحول العلاقات من علاقات بين بشر إلى علاقات بين أشياء)، وهو الواقع الذي نجد الشعراء، بوصفهم مثقفين، يعيشونه. وبناء على ذلك، فإنني أرى أن الاغتراب عند الشعراء عموما، وشعراء القصيدة المعاصرة خصوصا إطار يتكون فيه الإبداع. إن أقوى الشعراء تعبيرا، وأشهرهم مكانة هم الذين عرفوا بالاغتراب في شكل ما من أشكال وجوده، كما أن لكل شاعر غربته الخاصة تطفو على قصائده قليلا أو كثيرا، يرجع عنها حينا ويتمادى فيها أحيانا.
