The stones are said to have healing powers as well as immense monetary value. They are on loan to the museum for the July Fourth weekend, and the crowds are larger than the bus line to an Obama Inauguration! Then a beloved local woman of Tanzanian descent is murdered, and the stones are stolen! Lem and the Paladins are also on vacation in Oak Bluffs with Teri and the rest of the Lovejoy family. After the theft and the murder, Lem and the Paladins go to work, promising the Tanzanian Emissaries to bring the killer to justice, recover the stones and to clear the name of one of their own. What a vacation!
