The geological environment (geoenvironment) is that part of lithosphere, which directly influences the subsistence and development of the society, which the man exploits and renovates. It is a young interdisciplinary science, which brings about new approaches and concepts in solving problems of interactions between man and environment with a prime role to ensure its rational use and protection.
