Musical Comedy Characters: 4 male, 4 female, expanded cast possible Interior On Lyla's first day at The Perky Coffee Bean she discovers that Justin (her long-time crush) delivers the muffins. With the help of coffee shop regulars Gary and Kevin, the shop owner Sadie, Lyla's best friend Kat, and various other customers, she finally gets up the courage to tell him how she feels. Muffin Man is a whimsical, farcical musical about a little barista in love with the Muffin Man. Goofy customers, over-enthusiastic parents, and best friends are all in a day's work for Lyla. Can she tell the Muffin Man how she feels? A modern take on the classic nursery rhyme, Muffin Man will leave a smile on your face. Muffin Man was a sold out show in the 2009 New York International Fringe Festival, was part of the FringeHIGH program, and was selected to be part of the FringeNYC Encore Series. "Camille Harris is clever with a lyric and is a tuneful composer to boot." - Curtain Up "It's not often these days that audiences are treated to a classic romantic musical. Muffin Man delivers a charming one and does so in a modern way...a delightful show that will leave a smile on your face." - New Theater Corps
