Je discuterai en détail les analyses "classiques" des constructions ŕ doubleobjets avancées par Larson (1988) et par Kayne (1994). Cette discussion a pour butde mettre en lumičre les avantages et les désavantages de lżanalyse avancée par Larson(1988) comme analyse des différences entre les constructions ŕ double objet enanglais et les constructions ŕ double objet en français. Une meilleure compréhensionde quelques aspects de lżapproche larsonian doit mieux faire comprendre au lecteurle rôle clé qui jouent certaines notions sytaxiques telles que la "c-commande asymétrique",la "précédence linéaire" et "lżasymétrie de domaines locaux" comme facteursexplicatifs dans cette approche. Cżest seulement par une meilleure compréhensionde ces notions clés dans lżanalyse avancée par Larson (1988) que le lecteur peutaussi comprendre la critique de cette approche avancée par Jackendorff (1990) y parMüller (1995).
