Water-Carbon Dynamics in Eastern Siberia

This book highlights the water and carbon cycle system in the permafrost region in eastern Siberia, provides important insights in the effects of climate change to permafrost environment in recent decades. The chapters analyze the relationships between precipitation and evapotranspiration, gross primary production, and runoff in the permafrost regions, which are different from tropical and temperate forests.
