Collection of three films by Iranian director Abbas Kiarostami. In 'Where Is the Friend's House?' (1987) a young boy must hand in his friend's notebook which he picked up by mistake. In 'And Life Goes On' (1992) a director visits the aftermath of an earthquake in the hope of finding the children who acted in one of his films. Finally, 'Through the Olive Trees' (1994) follows the lives of two characters who depicted a newly married couple in a previous film.
